Hello world.

10 PRINT "HELLO WORLD".
20 STOP.
-unknown programmer.
It has been a long standing tradition that the first thing you do with a new medium is you write a seeimngly pointless thing, that simply announces it's existance. In fact not even it's own, but that of the world around it, which was never put into any reasonable doubt.
Why, you ask? The scientific version is that this helps you to find out the very basic stuff about your new medium, such as how it starts or ends, or how to it comunicates with the world. But that is not why you do it. The real answer is that it just feels good to do so, as if you (or rather the "hello world" as your avatar) are born into this new medium and announce your presence: "Hi there, world. You'll be seeing a lot of me from now on."
So I greet you all in my weblog, where I will be posting my Ideas on life universe and... well, you know- evrything.
